Safety Label - Protection against falsification

During the following months should be approved European technical standard that will define the conditions for protection against falsification of medicines.

 

It should be take over by Czech Republic in the following six months from its approval.

What will this standard mean for the pharmaceutical manufacturer?

 

The packaging of medicinal products (subject to medical prescription) there should be included security features that distributors and persons authorized to issue them to verify the authenticity and also whether the packaging was not tampered with. Than we can immediately recognize in pharmacy that we have original sealed package containing the medications. One of protective elements may be designed by the standards of security label.
