Labelling system EZP810/8

Innovative labeling equipment that handles even the most demanding tasks reliably and simply. The EZP 810/8 model is designed for applying A5-sized labels (148 x 210 mm) with maximum precision, even in the most challenging industrial environments.

Its compact and durable aluminum construction houses a pallet applicator equipped with a thermal transfer printer and a unique application piston with a 90� bend, enabling label application on both sides of a product or pallet without unnecessary rotation on the turntable. This is achieved through an application head with an integrated barcode scanner for data verification, a communication and control display, and perfect security of the thermal transfer printer and 8th generation application mechanism.

The pallet applicator can be connected to a wide range of databases and enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, and MES. Upon request, the applicator can be equipped with an internal heating system for operation in cold or outdoor environments.

How applicator works?

The EZP 810/8 applicator applies labels to the corner of pallets. For dual application, one stop of the pallet on the conveyor is sufficient, during which label printing (usually A5) occurs, followed by application to the corner of the longer side of the pallet, then a second label printing and positioning of the applicator for corner application on the shorter side of the pallet. The application head is equipped with a code verifier, so immediately after application, a check is performed to ensure that the applied codes are correct. In case of a reading error, the cycle is automatically repeated, or an alert is issued to the operator to perform device checks (printer, consumables, verification, etc.).

Application robotic workplace is a solution designed to label the product on its front and side. This makes the FANUC robotic system with the highest precision. The Fanuc ARC Mate robotic arm performs motion in the area along designated paths to provide basic activity. The label is printed on the stack with information obtained from the IS of the customer, followed by hot melt bonding and by the controlled movement is placed at the desired locations. The duty cycle is initiated by the initial signal received by the ARP from the transport line. The signal is generated when the sensor detects that the product is in the position for labeling. ARP is equipped with a robotic system that provides the following basic activities with ARC PLC: Remove the printed label from the printer output slot on the face of the application head Holding the label on the application head Apply hot melt adhesive on the label Sticking labels to the designated product room
