DWR Round labelling machine for rounded products

DWR Round labelling machine for rounded products
DWR ROUND is a semi-automatic labelling machine for the application of self-adhesive labels to cylindrical products. It is available with a maximum label width of 200 mm, and is equipped with an unwind unit which accepts reels with a maximum diameter of 300 mm, providing long operation autonomy. The electronics consist of a single board featuring SMD technology. It uses a 16-bit microprocessor. The user interface consists of a two-line, 20-character/line LCD display and 7 function keys. The software allows up to 40 different operating programmes to be stored, including all information on the label and type of application, making format changes extremely quick. Labels are detected using a fork photocell, which reads the transparency; an ultrasound sensor which reads the thickness is available for when transparent labels are used. DWR ROUND can apply wraparound or front/back labels, even of different dimensions positioned on the same reel. DWR ROUND can even apply labels in phase by reading a coloured notch on the product or a previously applied label, for example.

Removal accessory DWR

Removal accessory DWR
Label dispenser. DWR, a semi-automatic dispenser, is suitable for most of the users who process rolls of self-adhesive labels. Fully made of steel, it can be used in such environments where products are completed and marked manually with a self-adhesive label. A label is partly removed from an underlying material and is ready to be taken away by an operator. Following its removal, another label is stuck out automatically and the whole process repeats itself.  DWR is available in two models: DWR 100 – for labels of up to 100mm in width, and DWR 200 – for labels of up to 200mm in width. Another alternative of the dispenser is the one with electromechanical scanner for transparent materials of labels or a “battery model” able to work up to four hours without supply voltage. Optionally, the DWR dispenser is possible to equip with an electronic counter of removed labels. The whole cycle of removing the label is controlled by a microprocessor unit which monitors the signal coming from a double-channel optical scanner and is thus able to respond to any differences in scanning of labels or underlying material. Further advantage of the aforesaid type of control is an automated turn-off of the electric motor in case of tearing apart or coming to an end of rolls of labels while simultaneously warning the operator with an acoustic signal.
