Application robotic workplace is a solution designed to label the product on its front and side. This makes the FANUC robotic system with the highest precision. The Fanuc ARC Mate robotic arm performs motion in the area along designated paths to provide basic activity. The label is printed on the stack with information obtained from the IS of the customer, followed by hot melt bonding and by the controlled movement is placed at the desired locations. The duty cycle is initiated by the initial signal received by the ARP from the transport line. The signal is generated when the sensor detects that the product is in the position for labeling. ARP is equipped with a robotic system that provides the following basic activities with ARC PLC: Remove the printed label from the printer output slot on the face of the application head Holding the label on the application head Apply hot melt adhesive on the label Sticking labels to the designated product room

Marking of Pallets on a Rotary Conveyor.  The EZP810_4 is equipped with and application head with linear-axis operation. The system is suitable for lateral marking of pallets on a conveyor belt. If marking of a pallet from more sides is required, it is possible to make use of a section of a rotary conveyor (i.e. a turntable). This way, pallets of finished products are marked by a logistic label in accordance with GS1 standard. Comfortable control as well as the management of pallet-marking operation is secured by the SIEMENS Simatic S7–200 system equipped with the TD400C display. Furthermore, the EZP810_4 is equipped with a protective cover to prevent dust particles from entering the printing unit. All the requirements concerning the safety of operation of the device are met, too. Whenever the operator opens the door of the protective cover, the pressed-air main is shut off and the pressure system aired out. Mechanical design of the EZP810_4 enables to set easily the level of a label to be applied according to the actual height of the conveyor belt. Other functions of the EZP810_4 are: The control of the application of a self-sealing label onto a pallet unit Reading of SSCC barcode after applying the label Recording the SSCC number in the database of produced pallets (input database for the Traceability system) Marking of incomplete pallets (different number of products on a pallet – last pallet, etc.) Manual mode for label printing   Are you dealing with a similar problem? Marking of Crude Rubber Boxes.  In order to meet customer’s requirements, the sixth modification of EZP810_6 has been developed. Regarding the application, the aim is to mark crude rubber which can be packed in three different types of cases. Such situation required the adjustment of label position depending on the respective batch (vertical/horizontal, along/out of the pallet axis or in different height from the conveyor). Such demanding requirements could only be met through a non-standard solution, wherefore EPRIN designers decided to create a wholly unique device. Solution presentation, designing the unit, as well as the documentation of respective parts were all done in 3D CAD system of Solid Works which has been used successfully by the company for several years.
